For 35 years, with your help the Lupus Foundation of America Greater Washington Chapter (LFAGW) has provided answers and hope for people living with lupus. We are the leading organization in the DC, MD and VA area- providing day-to-day education, advice and resources to lupus patients and their families.
In recognition of our 35 years of successes, achievements and lessons learned we are celebrating with an anniversary luncheon and auction.

Funds raised at the luncheon will be used to launch our pioneering Lupus Patient Navigator Program. Although there is no cure for lupus, there are ways to enhance healthcare access, delivery and provide a safety net for people living with lupus. The Centers for Disease Control have stated that the greatest success in achieving better care for lupus patients can most successfully be done through programs that address the needs of this population one patient at a time. The Lupus Patient Navigator Program is designed to help Lupus patients; providing an increased ability to navigate the healthcare system, focused help and education.
Welcome to the Lupus Foundation of America, Greater Washington Chapter. Our chapter provides current information, education programs, and outreach services to improve the quality of lives for people with lupus while also supporting research. We support people with lupus throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. The office is open from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
